Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualification (B.E. / B.Tech)
Candidates must have completed Class 12 (PUC / 10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects from a recognized board. A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCM subjects is required (40% for SC/ST/OBC-I candidates from Karnataka).
Entrance Exam – COMEDK UGET (COMEDK Quota)
For admission under the COMEDK quota, candidates must have a valid rank in COMEDK UGET. MSRIT is among the most competitive colleges under COMEDK — CSE, ISE, and ECE seats fill at very low ranks. Registration and exam typically held between January and May each year.
Entrance Exam – KCET (Government / Karnataka Quota)
Karnataka domicile candidates may apply through KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA. Seats under government quota are allocated based on KCET rank and category.
Management Quota
Seats under Management Quota are filled by the institution through merit in qualifying examinations. JEE Main / COMEDK score is mandatory. Applications are accepted directly via the MSRIT admissions portal and office throughout the admission cycle.
NRI / Foreign National Quota
NRI candidates must furnish proof of NRI/OCI status, valid passport, and academic transcripts. Admission through MSRIT’s NRI quota is based on qualifying exam marks and institutional norms. Applications processed via the International Admissions Cell.
