Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualification (B.Tech)
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (PUC / 10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects from a recognized board. A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCM subjects is required (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates from Karnataka).
Entrance Exam – PESSAT (PES Scholastic Aptitude Test)
PES University conducts its own entrance exam, PESSAT, for admission to all B.Tech programs. The exam tests Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. Valid PESSAT rank is mandatory for admission under the PES University quota. PESSAT is conducted online across multiple centers in India.
Entrance Exam – COMEDK UGET
Candidates may also appear in COMEDK UGET for admission under the COMEDK quota. Valid COMEDK rank is accepted for a limited number of seats. The university considers both PESSAT and COMEDK scores for admissions.
Entrance Exam – KCET (Karnataka Quota)
Karnataka domicile candidates may apply through KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA for government quota seats. Priority is given to Karnataka state candidates.
Management / NRI Quota
Seats under Management Quota are filled directly by the university through merit in qualifying examination. Candidates must have valid PESSAT / JEE Main / COMEDK score. NRI candidates must provide proof of NRI status, valid passport, and academic transcripts.
