Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech Program Eligibility (COMEDK Quota)
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (PUC / 10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects from a recognized board.
Minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCM required. Valid COMEDK UGET rank is mandatory for admission under COMEDK quota. MSRIT is a highly competitive COMEDK college with cut-offs typically within top 3000 ranks for CSE.
B.Tech – Management Quota
Limited management quota seats available. Candidates must have qualifying 10+2 marks (minimum 45%). Direct admission can be pursued through management quota but is limited and competitive due to MSRIT’s popularity.
M.Tech Program Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 50% marks. GATE score required for admission. MSRIT accepts candidates based on GATE rank and B.Tech CGPA. Research background is preferred for pursuing specializations in AI/ML and IoT.
MBA Program Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree from any discipline with minimum 50% marks. CAT / XAT / GMAT score required. MSRIT MBA is open to engineering, commerce, science, and management backgrounds. Work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
NRI / International Student Quota
NRI candidates can apply under NRI quota with proof of NRI status and valid passport. Academic qualifications should be equivalent to Indian 10+2. English proficiency is required. Direct admission can be pursued with appropriate qualifications.
Lateral Entry (B.Tech 2nd Year)
Candidates with diploma in engineering or B.Sc with 50% marks can apply for lateral entry to 2nd year B.Tech. A common entrance exam (KCET lateral or COMEDK lateral) determines admission. Students with 3+ years work experience in technical roles also eligible.

Register for COMEDK UGET
Jan – March 2025: Appear for COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test. MSRIT is a top COMEDK college, so competitive rank needed. Focus on strong performance in Physics, Chemistry, Math sections.

May 2025: COMEDK publishes results. Download your rank card from official portal. Check MSRIT’s previous year cut-offs (typically top 3000-4000 ranks for CSE). Estimate chances based on your rank.
COMEDK Counselling
June 2025: Register on COMEDK counselling portal. Pay counselling fee (₹2,000 approx). Fill choices carefully – MSRIT is highly sought after. Add realistic backup options in your choice list.
Seat Allotment Round 1
July 2025: COMEDK conducts counselling and announces seat allotment. If allotted MSRIT, immediately pay seat acceptance fee (₹10,000 approx) to confirm. Participate in subsequent rounds if not allotted.
Document Verification
Late July 2025: Report to MSRIT campus with original documents: 10th & 12th marksheets, COMEDK rank card, Aadhaar, Transfer Certificate, category certificate, passport-size photos (12 copies).
Fee Payment
August 2025: Pay first semester fees via MSRIT payment gateway. Hostel fees separate if applying for accommodation. Admission is confirmed upon receipt of payment.

August 2025: Participate in orientation programme. MSRIT’s unique innovation induction introduces you to labs, research centers, and industry partnerships. Classes begin immediately after orientation week.
