Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech (All Branches)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) from recognized board. Minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC). Valid COMEDK UGET / KCET score mandatory. Direct admission under management quota based on 12th marks.
MBA Program
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for reserved). Valid MAT / KMAT / CMAT / CAT score required. Work experience preferred but not mandatory. Group Discussion & Personal Interview round.
BA-LLB / BBA-LLB (Integrated)
10+2 from recognized board with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). CLAT / LSAT India / CMRU Law Entrance Test (LET) score required. Personal interview for final selection.
B.Des (Design)
10+2 from any stream with minimum 50% marks. UCEED / NIFT / CMRU Design Aptitude Test (DAT) followed by portfolio review and studio test. Creative portfolio mandatory for shortlisting.
BCA & B.Com
10+2 with minimum 40% marks. Mathematics/Computer Science preferred for BCA. Direct admission based on 12th percentage and personal interview.
M.Tech & PhD
M.Tech: B.Tech/BE in relevant discipline with 50% marks. GATE/PGCET qualified. PhD: Master’s degree with 55% marks + UGC-NET/CSIR or CMRU Research Entrance Test (RET).
Admission Process
Step-by-Step Admission Guide (2025–26)
Choose Program & Register
Visit CMRU admission portal. Register with basic details. Pay application fee (₹1,000). B.Tech candidates register for COMEDK/KCET separately.
Appear for Entrance Test
B.Tech: COMEDK UGET (April 2025). MBA: MAT/KMAT. Law: CLAT/LSAT. Design: CMRU DAT (February/March). Submit scores before deadline.
Application & Counselling
Fill online application form. Upload documents, entrance scores, and photograph. Shortlisted candidates called for counselling/interview (April-June 2025).
Portfolio / Interview Round
For Design: Portfolio review + studio test. For MBA/Law: Personal Interview + Group Discussion. For B.Tech: Document verification only.
Seat Allotment & Fee Payment
Provisional seat allotment via email. Pay initial admission fee (₹25,000-50,000) within 7 days. Balance fee as per schedule.
Document Verification & Orientation
Submit original documents at campus. Attend mandatory orientation (July/August 2025). Hostel allocation on first-come basis.
